What's In a Name?

Share
Apparently, I have been given a nickname by my students. They have decided to call me Professor Plumbum because I talk about lead all the time. Lead comes up frequently because of stability, its utility against radiation, and because of its electronegative properties. Even in Biology, I mention it because it's a potent metabolic inhibitor. Lex Luthor would be proud.
